Illuminating the Pain-Body In the Light of the Pathwork with Darlene Rollins and John Bayerl Friday, January 1 at 2 pm ending Sunday, January 3 at 2 pm $395 includes event, room and meals at Sevenoaks Retreat Center Eckhart Tolle describes the ÃÂ"pain-bodyÃÂ" as our accumulated past suffering. It is a negative energy field, mostly unconscious, that can periodically overtake us, dragging us down into vicious circles of shame, resentment, anger, despondency or hopeless grief. Indeed, whenever we are not flowing with the love, joy and creativity that are our birthright, we are manifesting aspects of the pain-body. The Pathwork is a contemporary spiritual form that invites us to reclaim the purity, vitality and creativity of our ÃÂ"real selves.ÃÂ"As with Tolle's work, the Pathwork recognizes the pervasive oppressiveness of negative force fields (the lower self) that persuade us to turn away from our true nature. The Pathwork teaches effective and systematic ways to recognize the lower self/pain-body, to recognize the suffering it brings, and to defuse it. This workshop will synergistically intertwine these two complimentary approaches and give participants valuable understanding and skills to hold and transform the painbody. Both Tolle and the Pathwork prescribe an approach to spiritual growth that is rooted in a fundamental acceptance of present reality. When we allow ourselves to accept the present moment, we mobilize our inherent inner resources of light and love (the higher self) which bring spaciousness and allowance to our sufferings, confusions, and temporary lostness. This will be a deeply experiential weekend which will offer cognitive teaching, emotional processing, work with the body, meditation, and use of sacred ritual. We invite you to join us for a powerful new beginning this New Year! Come soften into your true being and plant the seeds for a new life. This workshop is the final qualifying workshop this year to enter the new Year 1 Pathwork Transformation Program class. Darlene Rolllins has used the Pathwork as spiritual practice for 25 years. The power of these teachings becomes clearer and stronger with each year and her joy is to be ÃÂ"a link in the chain of happinessÃÂ". In combining the work of Eckhart Tolle and the Pathwork Guide she has developed a new form of "Process-Meditation" that reveals and heals the pain- body. John Bayerl is a Pathwork Helper and teacher in the Pathwork Transformation Program at Sevenoaks as well as in private practice in the D.C. area. He has a passion for group work and deeply appreciates the way in which a safe container of trusting souls can expedite our spiritual growth. He and Darlene have worked together for many years to create safe, loving environments for people to let down and ÃÂ"be realÃÂ" with one another. Reserve your place NO LATER than December 23.
