A showcase for performing arts in central Maryland, The Weinberg Center plays a valuable leadership role in our local and regional arts communities. Through a wide range of dramatic, musical, artistic and educational programs, The Weinberg enhances our area's cultural life and ensures that the arts remain accessible and affordable to the broadest possible audience. Our Audience The Weinberg Center for the Arts is located in Frederick County, one of the fastest growing counties in the mid-Atlantic region and home to a thriving arts community just 40 miles from Baltimore and Washington, D.C. The multicultural appeal and affordability of LIVE! programs have created a diversified audience base of all ages, interests, and income levels. WCA patrons reside in Frederick City (54%), Frederick County (29%), Montgomery County (5%), Washington County (1%), and surrounding regions (11%) that include 86 different counties throughout Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia, as well as Washington, D.C. and across the country.
