Fall Hike to Annapolis Rock/Black Rock

I would like to do a fall hike to both Annapolis Rock and Black Rock . The trail is dog friendly .Two fantastic overlooks in the fall. I would like to plan on a picnic on one of the overlooks by bringing a sack lunch of your choosing and a camera.The round trip is about 7 miles. I will let the group decide to go to both places or just one. the shortest distance is to Annapolis Rock 5 miles round trip and 1 mile to Black Rock and a mile back. The 1 mile is really flat. The trip is really beautiful in the fall and I hope the group will enjoy it. I hope to see you all there.We will meet up at the Parking Lot at the Appalachian Trail. P lease car pool if possible. Directions to Annapolis rock AT trail in Myersville- Take US 70 West 6.9 miles to Highway 17 North. 17 North 1.3 miles to US 40/Baltimore National Pike. US 40/Baltimore National Pike go left, West 3 miles. The parking lot for the trail is on the left and there is a large Smokey Bear sign on your right.
