Start Point Address / Driving Directions:
401 S. State St. From I-65 take SR 44 west (exit 90) 1.5 miles into Franklin to the red flasher (Forsythe St). Turn left and go one block to Jefferson St. Turn Right and go four blocks to Branigin Blvd. Turn left and go 3 blocks to South St. At this point, Branigin Blvd. becomes State Street. The library is on your left across from the Indiana Masonic Home grounds. From US 31 on the south side of town at the cemetery, (look for Indiana Masonic Home sign), turn east on South St. and go 0.8 mile to the end at State St. The library is in front of you across from the Indiana Masonic Home grounds. Event Description: Mon-Thur & Sat, 9-5; Fri, 9-6; Sun, 1-5 Open Sundays only during the school year. Closed major holidays and the first Friday in November. The trail will pass through the grounds of the Indiana Masonic Home, Franklin College, Greenlawn Cemetery, use part of the Greenway Trail, pass through downtown and the by the Court House. SPECIAL Note: The Franklin YRE trail is partly under water as of June 10, 2008. In about one week the water should recede enough to do the trail. In the event you want to do the Franklin YRE, please modifiy the trail by going around those flooded areas . POC is Tom Martin
