Considering "tn_heather" is a notorious bar-fly and drunk in Franklin and has been thrown out of most bars including The Pond, or had to be driven home face-down-blind drunk and very familiar to Bar tenders who refer to her as "The Physco", I'd say you might want to try the place out for yourself. Some of my favorite bar tenders work at The Pond and I make it a regular stop when I get off work. It's an easy, relaxed place to "hang-out", have a "Cold One" (there beer is ice cold!) and a smoke. It has a cool vibe. And no, if you're starving for attention, like to make a scene, start fights and get picked up for a quicky...it's prob not you're kinda place.
this place could be fun if it wasnt for the poor management and ownership. the drinks and beers are over priced. the owner seems to be drunk in the afternoons and that has run off any regulars they once had and the "furniture" comes from the goodwill store across the parking lot (classy). oh ya, it's never been cleaned either! with the lack of customers, this place will be closing it's doors for good. stay away!
Very nasty place... had the feel of a run down juke bar with washed up nobody's in it. The manager wasn't very nice either. Seemed a little cocky to be running a piece of crap. If you do waste your time one night at this place, don't ask the him for the specials on beer. He doesn't want to tell you or care. Really in a nutshell, the place should be shut down for horrible customer service in a nasty setting. If your gonna drive over that way for a drink, just buy liquor at the adjacent liquor store.
