Vocalist Lisa Thorson will be joined by pianist Doug Johnson, bassist David Clark and drummer George Schuller in an evening of jazz with an original twist. The ensemble will explore their own compositions and new arrangements of classic jazz tunes. Lisa Thorson is known for combining repertoire that gives a nod to the jazz standards of the past yet has an eye to the future of jazz singing. Many of the ensemble's compositions feature Lisa¹s original lyrics. Her latest release "Out to Sea" with pianist Cho Yoon Seung has garnered critical acclaim.
