Kenny Chesney
Contemporary country star Kenny Chesney didn't have the immediate breakout success that many of his peers enjoyed upon signing with major labels, but gradually built up a significant following via hard work, pop-friendly ballads, and a likable, average-guy persona. Chesney was born in Knoxville, TN, in 1968 and raised in the nearby small town of Luttrell, better known as the home of Chet Atkins. Gillette Stadium
Gillette Stadium Foxborough, MA is a multi-purpose stadium residing 21 miles southwest of downtown Boston. It serves as the home stadium and administrative offices for the New England Patriots football team and the New England Revolution soccer team. Although the Gillette Stadium schedule is not limited to sporting events. There are also musical concerts by some of the biggest recording artists of the day. The facility opened in 2002, replacing Foxboro Stadium. The seating capacity is 68,756, including 6,000 club seats and 87 luxury suites. Even with this large capacity, Gillette Stadium tickets can still be difficult to secure. The stadium is owned and operated by Kraft Sports Group, a subsidiary of The Kraft Group, the company through which businessman Robert Kraft owns the Patriots and Revolution. The stadium was originally known as CMGI Field before the naming rights were bought by Gillette after the "dot-com" bust. Although Gillette has since been acquired by Procter & Gamble, the stadium retains the Gillette name because P&G has continued to use the Gillette brand name. Additionally, uBid (until April 2003 a wholly owned subsidiary of CMGI) as of 2009 continues to sponsor one of the main entrance gates to the stadium. Gillette Stadium has a large number of features that make it unique to the New England heritage. These features include the bridge and 12-story high lighthouse that will sit atop the Bank of America entrance and welcome visitors to the stadium. Plazas, allowing guests to meet and enjoy the atmosphere, surround the stadium. The parking lots, containing over 16,500 parking spaces, are designed and built to ensure all guests park in a purpose-built, well-lit environment with safety being the No. 1 concern.Post a Countdown Widget
