Film and dialogue with Jessica May, assistant curator of photographs, Amon Carter Museum.
See the classic New Deal film Pare Lorentz&128;&153;s The Plow That Broke the Plains (1936); prior to the screening, enjoy an introductory lecture that provides historical context for Lorentz&128;&153;s work and how Mary Lucier&128;&153;s video installation The Plains of Sweet Regret (2004), currently on view at the Carter, relates to the film.
