Product development is the backbone of manufacturing, and innovation is what feeds it with new ideas. Mistakes do occur during developing products causing additional development costs, increased development time, and often defective products leading to recalls or high warranty costs.

In this short session/workshop, you will learn how these problems develop, their root causes, and how to prevent them. We will discuss the link between product development process robustness and product quality, problem solving vs. problem avoidance, as well as improving your PD process using lean six sigma approach. In the mini workshop you will participate in innovation and product development excercises.
