Great Tree Canopy Comeback: community tree planting in Fort Wayne area parks

HELP US PLANT TREES IN Fort Wayne, Allen County, & New Haven, Indiana parks! A fun day of fun for all ages. No planting experience is needed, and the work will not be difficult as holes will be dug in advance with heavy equipment. Bring your shovel and gloves and get ready for some fun! More than 250 trees in an hour or so in 2009 parks: Johnny Appleseed, Shoaff Park, and Salomon Farm Park, in Fort Wayne; Werling Park in New Haven; and Metea County Park.(Professional crews will also plant street trees along Rudisill Boulevard as part of this year's Great Tree Canopy Comeback.)
