Fort Wayne Blues Bash 2012

Step back in time to experience an evening of Chicago Blues music on Saturday, February 18. The League for the Blind and Disabled is presenting the Duke Robillard Band at the 3rd annual Blues Bash fundraiser at the Arts United Center, 303 E. Main St.

Doors open at 6 pm and the show will start at 7 pm. General admission is $15 which includes admission to the concert, cash bar and silent auction items available for bidding. Free parking is available in the 1st Source Bank parking garage located across Main Street from the Arts United Center.

There are a limited number of VIP Experience tickets for $75. VIP Experience ticket holders will receive reserved seating, parking behind the Arts United Center, access to the VIP room with open bar and hors d'euvres buffet and dessert during the intermission party.

More about Duke Robillard

After playing in various bands, Duke co-founded the band Roomful of Blues and was also a member of The Fabulous Thunderbirds. Experienced in jazz, swing, and rock and roll, aside from his preferred blues music, Robillard has been generally regarded as a guitar player keeping the blues style of T-Bone Walker.

Duke is a four-time Best Blues Guitarist Guitarist Winner at the Blues Music Awards making him the second most honored guitarist for that award! BB King himself has called Duke "One of the great players".
