
A six-leg, 36.8 mile relay around Choctawhatchee Bay traversing through the cities of Destin, Bluewater Bay, Niceville, Shalimar and FWB on New Year's Eve weekend. Each team is responsible for transportation and supplies for the race. Bike lanes and sidewalks will be used. The course is open to traffic, so safety is paramount. Beaches, bays and bridges form a scenic course. Great beachfront hotel rates available for the weekend. Teams not familiar with course area will be matched with a local team.

Event schedule and timesA staggered start beginning at 6:30 AM, based upon the average 10K times of team members. The new Fudpuckers on the Island will serve as the start/finish line and will host the post race party. Team starting times should have runners returning to Fud's around 12:00 noon. The first leg is an 9.2 mile Fud to Fud Run while the second leg crosses the four mile Mid-Bay Bridge.
