Early Spring Paddle on Terrapin Creek at Little River Canyon National Preserve
Join Renee Morrison of JSU Field Schools, Don Coley of Terrapin Creek Outdoor Center, Chris Rainey of USFS, and Joan Alexander from Anniston Outdoor Association for this adventure on Terrapin Creek. Wild flowers, wild life, and beautiful scenery will abound. Bring drinks/snacks/lunch. Not recommended for children under 12 years unless they ride in canoe with adults. Where: Terrapin Creek Outdoor Center (located on Alabama Highway 9, near Centre, Alabama) Fee: $30 per person (rental kayak included): $25 per person rental canoe (double only); $20 per person to bring your own canoe or kayak; Pre-registration is required.
