The Berne Davis Gardens open to the Public on Tuesdays

The Berne Davis Gardens are named for Berne Davis, a beloved Fort Myers benefactor of the arts who passed away in March, 2016, at the age of 102. Her legacy will live on in the Berne Davis Gardens, which were professionally designed and lovingly planted by members of the Fort Myers-Lee County Garden Council, Inc. In the botanical gardens, there are areas full of bromeliads, hibiscus, rare and tropical fruit, roses, herbs, native plants, orchids and a bonsai display. The gardens are open to the public on Tuesdays, from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm, October 9 through May 21. Garden Council members will be on hand to lead a guided tour of the grounds and to answer questions about plantings. The Berne Davis Gardens are located at 2166 Virginia Avenue, off McGregor Blvd, Fort Myers, Florida 33901, and just past the Edison-Ford Winter Estates. Admission is free.
