Description
The Broward ACLU will have a Freedom Files video presentation at 6:30 PM sharp. Please join us! The featured video will be "Beyond the Patriot Act." Through personal stories of ordinary Americans, this episode tells how a misguided law and other government overreactions to September 11th are restricting our most basic constitutional freedoms and threatening America's system of checks and balances. There is no charge. The Jim Ward Community Center is located at 301 NW 46th Avenue, Plantation, FL 33317 (954-585-2344). The Center is just a few blocks to the west of State Road 7, and a few blocks north of Broward Boulevard. Following the video and discussion the Broward Chapter ACLU Board will hold its monthly meeting - all are welcome to attend!
