Starting the year with Jesus-- 40 days of Prayer and Fasting

Even if you dont think you can make the whole 40 days, I encourage everyone to strive and RSVP Yes and try. It's time again when many churches join together corporately to wait upon the Lord through 40 days of prayer and fasting. During this time we will be fasting and believing for God to move in three specific areas: RELEASE, RESTORATION, and REWARD. http://www.daniel-fast.com/image/obj796geo635pg1p38.jpg We are believing for God to RELEASE (Isaiah 58:6) those that are being held captive by sin, addictions, depression, and other forms of demonic bondage. We are also seeking the Lord for RESTORATION (Joel 2:25) specifically in areas of family, relationships, health, finances,and every other area that was lost to the enemy in the past . You may want to write a list of these areas and keep it before your eyes everyday. As you fast, God will begin to give you direction and answers in those areas. Drinking only water and vegetable juices (1 juice in the morning and 1 juice the evening) and no solid food for 40 days. or Water only - fasting from midnight to 6:00 p.m. and breaking after 6:00 p.m. daily (you can eat 1 full meal a day after 6:00 p.m.) or the Daniel Fast -- small portions of meat(fish included), (NO SUGARY SNACKS (the hebrew bible says that daniel ate "no pleasant bread or sweets), and vegetables and nuts, and whole grains this is actually not too difficult I fasted 40 days Daniel fast last year and I was GreATLY Blessed. and I heard from God constantly.
