Katya Chorover with Kathryn Mostow

Folky-tonk songstress Katya Chorover's poetic songwriting, peppered with just a dash of rough edged twang, lends a natural grace to her rootsy country tinged sound. Long a songwriting force in the Pacific Northwest, the past 10 years Katya has made her home in the dry high deserts of Southwestern Colorado. With a voice likened to a young Nanci Griffith, she sings with delicate & lyrical grit of love, loss, and redemption. Katya has just released and is touring in support of her new CD, Big Big Love, produced by Casey Neill and backed by an assemblage of Portlands hottest roots musicians. This is a split-bill with another transplanted Northwesterner and Fort Collins resident Kathryn Mostow. Kathryn also has a new CD out entitled "Rich Girl" produced by John McVey from Boulder.
