Environmentalist, Agriculturalist, Author Lester Brown to Speak at CSU

Lester Brown, named by The Washington Post as one of the world's most influential thinkers, will be presenting a free lecture on November 19th at the Lory Student Center on the campus of Colorado State University at 7:00 pm. An open forum for discussing issues raised by Brown will follow the lecture.

Brought to Colorado by the Institute for Livestock and the Environment and the Monfort in Professor-in-Residence Program, Brown has authored or co-authored over 50 books and, in 2001, founded the Earth Policy Institute, an organization dedicated to developing and implementing a plan for sustainable future. He will be on his new book, "Plan B 4.0", a road map and vision for achieving an environmentally sustainable economy. Copies of Plan B will be available for purchase at the event.
