
There are many advantages to partnerships in the community, especially in the area of community awareness. The Arkansas Martin Luther King, Jr. Commission, with the assistance of the Arkansas Department of Human Services, has implemented a program that is designed to encourage youth ages 10 to 17 to engage in positive leadership development and roles within their communities. Therefore, the Arkansas Martin Luther King, Jr. Commission will host “Nonviolence Youth Summit – Anti-Bullying Conference” on Friday,...October 5, 2012 from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM at East Arkansas Community College (EACC), 1700 Newcastle Road, Forrest City, AR 72335. This event is free and open to all, but prior confirmation of attendance is requested Lunch will be provided for free to all attendees.
