Description
Learn about the Romaniote Jews, a virtually unknown part of both Greek and Jewish history, who are represented in only one place in the entire Western hemisphere, here in NYC. All are welcome to join us for a tour and lunch at the Kehila Kedosha Janina, or the Holy Congregation of Ioannina, New York's only Greek Jewish synagogue and museum. Our tour will be led by Museum Director Marcia Haddad Ikonomopoulos, and will be followed by a traditional Greek-Jewish kosher lunch. There will be a charge for this tour/lunch and no reservations will be taken until the month before.
