The walk covers historic buildings along with the natural beauty of the area. It covers both the town, Fisher lake, and a natural interpretive trail at a very nice DNR Office worth a visit. It is on a combination of sidewalks, town roads, and a groomed trail. The walk is generally flat with some minor rises. Water and restrooms or outhouses are spaced along the route.
