Before reaching the winter and spring storm seasons, the League of Women Voters of Washington County will hold an Emergency Preparedness Panel on Tuesday, January 24 at the Fayetteville Public Library, Walker Room. The panel, consisting of five community experts on the subject, will discuss the local structure of emergency preparedness and what people can expect during emergency situations such as tornadoes, ice storms and security threats.

This event is free and open to the public, and will be followed with an opportunity to ask questions.
