Otaku Outing: Six Flags America

Join the gang as we ride roller coasters, enjoy water rides, and bond during the summer! Join us at the local Six Flags America for a fun filled day. Whether you've been a hundred times or never before it's sure to be a great time for the group! Six Flags America features more than 100 thrilling rides, slides, shows and attractions including state-of-the-art thrill rides, eight fast and furious coasters and Hurricane Harbor Water Park. Plan to ride their most popular rides early in the day, or after 6 pm. They have 7 roller coasters, including 2 wooden, 4 steel and 1 child coaster We are getting a discount on tickets, so instead of the usual $50 they will only be $30 each. There is only room for 20 people, so please reserve your spaces early. An option to pay via PayPal will be open shortly where you will be able to pay ahead. All payments must be received no later than July 6th. Feel free to RSVP for a friend or two as well but know that if you RSVP for them, you also be responsible to making sure their share is also paid via PayPal. After July 6th if you have not paid you will NOT be able to pay online and will have to pay the full price of $50 at the ticketbooth. There will be no lunch included in our pay, so please bring money or a packed lunch. There are several restaurants located at the park such as: Johnny Rockets, Papa John's, Subway, Panda Express and many more! We'll meet outside the front gate and I'd like everyone to try and wear a RED shirt that day. More details on that to come. Please list on whether you can carpool or need a ride. This park is Metro, bus, and driving accessible. Driving times are as follows: 15 minutes from Washington, D.C. 40 minutes from Baltimore, MD 30 minutes from Alexandria, VA 90 minutes from Wilmington, DE
