Mom's Morning Out - Every Thursday in Falls Church - 9:30am - 11:30am

Welcome!

Our *NEW* Mom's Morning Out program runs the same schedule as our popular Preschool Play program without the long term commitment. During each two hour "drop-off class" (parents do not attend), there are two art projects, a circle time, a snack and storytime, a movement activity and sing-along as well as open play in our preschool classroom. Enrollment closes the day before each class is held.

Sign up is by day (Thursdays only), the dates will be updated and available every few weeks. The cost is $30 per child per Thursday.

A sibling discounts is available for the second and third sibling. The sibling discount is reserved for siblings within the same family.

Snack will be provided by Parenting Playgroups. No food from home please.

For children who are not potty trained; please send in 2 diapers and a complete change of clothes.

Your child must be at least 2 years old and no older than 4 1/2 years old to attend our Mom's Morning Out class.

This flexible enrollment program is available on Thursdays in Falls Church and Fridays in Alexandria.

Drop-off and Pick-up 9:30am - 11:30am

Open drop off occurs in the first 15 minutes (9:30am - 9:45am) and pickup occurs in the final 15 minutes (11:15-11:30am) during which time open play activities are available. Structured program activites last for 90 minutes. Pick up time ends at 11:30am, if you are running late (after 11:35am) you will be responsible for paying the late fee. Late fee is $1 per minute past 11:35 per child. Payable to the staff upon pick up of your child.

Parents will need to provide the name and a contact number for anyone other than the parent to pick up your child from the Mom's Morning Out program.

General Terms and Conditions

Mom's Morning Out Program - Missed Classes:

Your child may attend a "make up" class for any missed classes. Make up classes are available any week day that the Preschool Play program is offered at either location.

All make-up classes must be scheduled in advance and confirmed with a lead teacher. Programs@parentingplaygroups.com

There are no tuition deductions or refunds for missed classes.

If you have scheduled a make-up class but are not able to attend, please give us a minimum of 24 hours notice. Failure to provide 24 hours notice will result in forfeit of your make-up class. Notice can be sent via email, phone or as a message left on our voice mail (703)922-0044

Weather Related or other Unscheduled Closings:

Parenting Playgroups Falls Church location follows the inclement weather closing/delay practices of Fairfax county Schools. Should any class be cancelled due to weather or other unscheduled event, a makeup class will be offered. Make up classes are available any week day that the Preschool Play program is offered, but must be scheduled in advance. There are no tuition deductions for weather related or other unscheduled closings so long as make up classes are made available.

Refund policy

There are no refunds given for payments made for our Children's Programs or Parent Workshops. If you make a payment and need to cancel or change plans, you can put your paid tuition towards any future Children's Program or Parent Workshop at Parenting Playgroups. If a Program or Workshop is cancelled for a power outage, weather condition or similar event, we will work to provide a make-up class or you may apply your paid tuition towards any future Children's Program or Parent Workshop at Parenting Playgroups. If we have to cancel a Program or Workshop due to low enrollment or a scheduling conflict, you can attend a make-up, apply your paid tuition towards any future Children's Program or Parent Workshop at Parenting Playgroups or we will issue a refund. If paid thru paypal, this refund will incur a small, paypal cancellation fee.

Enrollment:

Continuing enrollment in our programs is at the discretion of both the parent and Parenting Playgroups. There is a one month trial period for Parenting Playgroups and Parent to ensure a good match for your child and other classmates. Should issues arise during the year, Parenting Playgroups will work with parents to address and rectify the situation.

Returned Checks:

There is a $25 charge for any check returned by the bank.

Responsibility:

In consideration of being accepted in the Program, Parent and Child each hereby release Parenting Playgroups Inc. and each of their directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives and affiliates (collectively, the "Parenting Playgroups Parties") from any and all loss, liability, damage, cost or expense arising out of Child's participation in the Program. This agreement shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia without regard to principles of conflict of laws.

Emergency Medical Authorization:

Enrollment in the Program is contingent on completion of the Family Information Form which includes requisite medical information for your Child. Should your Child become ill, be injured or require emergency or other medical treatment during the Program, Parenting Playgroups will attempt to contact the Emergency Contact persons set forth on the Family Information Form. Should these Emergency Contact Persons be unavailable, Parent hereby requests, authorizes and gives full permission and consent to the Parenting Playgroups Parties to act on the Parent's behalf and in their stead.
