Anime USA 2009

It's the time again for Anime USA (AUSA). This is a local anime convention taking place as three-day event held in Crystal City, Virginia. This event is from November 20th thru the 22nd Originally started in 1999 the attendance was small, only 350 people. As of 2006 attendance has passed 3,400 people! Let's help show our support! Just to name a few of the guests this year the convention will feature: * Jo Chen * Michael Sinterniklaas * GPX * Leah Clark * Matt Herms (one of our very own!) Make sure to check out his booth too! * KAYA * ...and more! As usual there'll be panels, workshops, autograph sessions, lots of cosplaying, a Cosplay Burlesque , art shows, the Maid Cafe, video gaming and a lot more! We'll be getting together at some events and probably eating out together one night during the con, stay tuned for more details. For registration information, go here. Also be sure to coordinate with fellow members for hotel sharing, etc! DIRECTIONS Take the BLUE or YELLOW line to the CRYSTAL CITY stop. Take the escalators from the station up to the street. Once you are at the top of the escalators, turn to the left toward the brown Metro sign. The Hyatt shuttles stop at the corner (look for the White\Red Shuttle sign) every 20 minutes.
