ADULTS with ADD/ADHD Support Group of NoVa CHADD August, 2009 Meetup

A support group for adults who have ADD / ADHD, many of whom are also quite smart (even though some people never recognized that). Our group is through the NoVa CHADD chapter [Children and Adults with ADHD]. We have a monthly topic for discussion, which oft goes awry--which is our nature. People with ADHD are generally likable, enthusiastic, kind, and intuitive, so we have a good time learning more about our "disability" (or is it?) and supporting others who may be having problems. Both of the facilitators also have ADHD, which means we're astute professionals with a great sense of humor. Our meetings are for Adults who have ADD/ADHD and sometimes friends and partners/spouses, and are FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. Yes, YOU are welcome. Every second Wednesday at 6:15 p.m. at the Tysons-Pimmit Regional Library on Route 7 between I-495 and I-66.
