Double out and back course. The first leg is blacktop, goes through a tunnel & is about 4.5 miles long. The second leg has a crushed limestone surface & is about 8.6 miles long. USATF sanctioned event. Timing by Miles of Smiles timing. Pictures will be posted. Race benefits Literacy Volunteers of Marion County, a United Way Agency. Literacy Volunteers provides free tutoring to adults & children in reading, math, ESL (English as a second language) & other subjects.
