-Learn how California wage and hour class action litigation and decisions will become a total compliance initiative
-Discuss 10 major developments under federal law, including changes in executive compensation and employer burdens in defending age discrimination litigation, and challenges in downsizing, severance agreements and releases
-Review the top 10 California legislative and judicial developments for 2009

Speaker: Charles Thompson, partner at Kauff, McClain & McGuire LLP in San Francisco, has extensive counseling and litigation experience representing employers in wrongful termination, discrimination and other employment-related cases. He also teaches for San Francisco Law School, and the Council on Education in Management, the largest provider of employment-related seminars in the U.S. Charles is also a former national board member for the NAMES Project Foundation.
