Israeli cellist Amit Peled joins the Nordwest Deutsche Philharmonic for a performance at George Mason University's Center for the Arts. For the past 60 years, this accomplished 80-member orchestra has fulfilled a vital role as cultural ambassadors for its region to Europe and abroad. Under the direction of principal conductor Eugene Tzigane, the ensemble performs Grieg’s Peer Gynt Suite No. 1 and Brahms’ Symphony No. 1 in C minor. Virtuoso cellist Amit Peled joins the orchestra for Cello Concerto No. 2 in E minor by Victor Herbert.
