THE MAGIC HATSTAND came into being in November 2006 after being constructed by emma and jimi brogan out of an ordinary hatstand. Alot of plywood, flourescent paint and glitter later the Magic hatstand was born! Appearing on the hatstand are a wide variety of ridiculous hats gathered from far and wide for each performance, along with a few rough looking DIY handlebar moustaches and more glitter ;) The Magic Hatstand is all about good soulful, connected, deep funky house with a little dash of the bizarre or unexpected. Ultimately it is not just about the sound- The magic hatstand is all about the people who attend it!
