Caryl Churchill is one of the most gifted playwrights
working today. Her intelligence and wit have produced
plays as diverse as Cloud 9, Soft Cops, and Top Girls which
enjoyed a very successful revival at Chichester, on tour
and in the West End.
Fen is the result of workshops with people in the Fen-lands
and tells the story of their lives.
Although it is set in East Anglia its themes of rural life have
much in common with Devon.
