      A Conversation with The Israeli Ambassador to the UK

      The Exeter University Friends of Israel Society is honoured to bring to you ‘A Conversation with the Israeli Ambassador to the UK’ with Professor Siam Bhayro and Ambassador Mark Regev. Mark Regev became the Ambassador of Israel to the UK in April 2016, after serving as chief spokesman for the Prime Minister of Israel from 2007 to 2015. Professor Siam Bhayro is Associate Professor in Early Jewish Studies in the Department of Theology and Religion, University of Exeter. He works extensively with Israeli colleagues in the study of Semitic languages and texts. This in-depth discussion, led by the pair, will cover current issues relating to Israel and its political position on the international stage. Following this, there will be a period of time for the audience to ask any questions that they have for the Ambassador. This event will take place on 15th February at 17:45pm* and will end at 19:30pm. Please be aware that security may search your bags when entering the building. You MUST bring your Student Card AND another form of ID, or else you will not be allowed into the event. This event will take place in Streatham Court A, Streatham Campus, Exeter There are 200 tickets available for this event on a first come, first served basis; ALL tickets are free, and individuals must purchase their own tickets. You must purchase a ticket in order to attend the event.
