Cape Town event will continue to support PASSOP (People against Suffering, Suppression, Oppression and Poverty) a community based NGO that advocates for the rights of refugees, a true voice for the voiceless.
“It takes courage to be a refugee, to leave behind your family, friends, home and life and enter a new country with no knowledge of your rights. Individuals do not become refugees out of choice; they are forced to do so out of necessity. The right to a life without fear of police brutality and xenophobia is a human right. .” www.passop.co.za

This years festival will be held just outside of Cape Town in a little town called Tulbagh.
Perhaps most know for its earthquake back in 1969, this quaint and charming town is set with one of the most picturesque backdrops that South Africa has to offer.

With the help of Metro Rail, Zimfest-goers will be able to save money on transport and reduce their carbon footprint by taking the Zimtrain. We have an entire train dedicated to taking people directly from Cape Town to Tulbagh, where they catch a shuttle bus to the farm.
