Every day at Evans Lake is filled with a mixture of structured learning sessions, group recreational activities and free time. Staff lead campers in a variety of activities and winter games. During free time there is something for everyone. Campers choose from a variety of activities based on their interests:  archery, fire building, outdoor cooking, hiking, songs and skits, snow shelter-building, indoor games, theme meals, crafts, and weather dependent snow activities.

At least TWO WEEKS prior to the start date of your camp, you will receive an Orientation Package. This package will include all the information you require about what to bring, where to arrive, etc. Please ensure that you have reviewed this material thoroughly with your camper(s).

More than 14 days notice: Campers unable to attend a session for any reason will receive a refund, less a $35 administration/ registration fee.
Less than 14 days notice: We will attempt to refill your spot from our waiting list, and if we are successful you will receive a refund less the $35 administration/ registration fee. Otherwise no refund is available.
Medical Reason with Doctor's Certificate: Full refund or credit toward another session.

We require that you complete this form for each session, so that we can best support your camper during their stay. Emergency contacts must be someone other than parents/guardians. They must live locally, and be available for contact during the session. Diet/Allergy information must be communicated as clearly as possible on the Health Form. Parents must also provide their Date of Birth. In the unlikely event your child is taken to the hospital, this information is required by hospital admittance.

Evans Lake is a non-profit charity and there are many ways you can help Evans Lake into the future: A donation to help another camper, contribution to an Evans Lake Fund, bequests and planned giving, donation of materials and your hard-earned time are but a few. If you are able to support Evans Lake through a monetary donation please complete the ‘Donation’ page attached. All contributions over $25.00 will receive a tax-receipt. Evans Lake also hosts many Work Party Weekends, these are great opportunities to help and experience some of what Evans Lake offers the children that attend our camps and programs.
