Description
The walk is on sidewalks and asphalt walking trails around the University of Texas of the Permian Basin Campus. It also includes a nature trail around a duck pond. Bring binoculars as you may see black tail prairie dogs, rabbits, and burrowing owls. You will also see the restored and relocated home of George H.W. Bush and childhood home of George W. Bush. Across the bridge in front of the home is the Presidential Museum and Leadership Library. During warm or hot weather it is advisable to walk early in the morning and to carry water.
