A week filled with folk music, singing, dancing, pub sessions, concerts, and cream teas, focused in the centre of Sidmouth, Devon and on the sea front. The dates for 2010 are Friday 30th July to Friday 6th August.

Line-up The first confirmed acts include Show of Hands, Blue Murder, Bellowhead, Cordelia's Dad, Andy Cutting and Friends, Eliza Carthy and Saul Rose, Julie Fowlis, Jackie Oates, Mawkin:Causley, Daimh, Shooglenifty, Salsa Celtica, Breabach, Kerfuffle, Brass Monkey, Belshazzar's Feast, Martin Simpson, Chris Wood, Belinda O'Hooley and Heidi Tidow, Nancy Kerr and James Fagan, Barry Coope and John Tams, and more, with many more still to be announced.

Special events Special events include The Music of Bagpuss composed and performed by Sandra Kerr and John Faulkner, A Tribute to Nic Jones with Jim Moray, Jackie Oates, Belinda O’Hooley and Jon Boden, A Peace Concert for Hiroshima Day hosted by Roy Bailey featuring Sandra Kerr, Chumbawamba and David Ferrard, and a silent disco + silent ceilidh with a Yuletide theme.

Ceilidh Bands Ceilidh bands include Bedlam, The Committee Band, Toothless Mary, Tickled Pink, Blowzabella, and The Spiers and Boden Ceilidh Band.

As well as live music, expect ceilidh dances, social dance bands & callers, workshops, a dance display, processions, craft fair, a themed children's festival, fun and games and more, with the festival spread across several venues throughout the town, over an 8 day period.

Tickets Ticket prices have not yet been confirmed and tickets are not yet on sale.

Camping charges There are charges for using the campsite these have not yet been announced.

Workshops There will also be several workshops, some are planned as a series, with a performance usually planned for the end of the week.
