Description
A packed programme for the 65,000 visitors expected at the show. Elements include equine classes and regular displays as well as over 600 shops and this year's focus is on gardens and gardening.
The star attraction will be the JCB Dancing Diggers, and the supporting displays will include the spectacle of the Band of the Welsh Guards, precision driving from the sheep dogs and the ever impressive ascent of the hot air balloons. The Vodafone arena will also host a magnificent pageant ‘A Year in the Countryside'.
Away from the main arena visitors of all ages will also be able to enjoy the Country Area, Food Fare, Harvest Centre, Crafts Marquee and Fun Fair. The Education Tent will this year include the Rangemaster Cookery Theatre demonstrating healthy eating recipes for all ages and for the truly brave a visit to the snakes must be on the list of things to see.
Note: Livestock portions of the show have been canceled (see website for details) - However, Furniture Farm's sheep and bull understudies will be present en mass, making their best attempt to stand-in, for their lager cousins.
