      When there aren’t enough hours in the day, it’s easy to lose sight of the things you love about social media. For us, that means being creative and sharing our own authentic stories. WHAT IS THE RETREAT? We’ve created The Retreat as a small, collaborative event for bloggers and other social media influencers who want to refresh their creative energy, and brush up on their content creation skills.   Over three days, we will provide a schedule where experts will guide you through a range of fun activities designed to improve your writing, photography and film-making. And there’s plenty of time to build meaningful connections with your fellow guests, at our beautiful rural venue. The Retreat takes place at Croydon Hall, a gorgeous country house on the edge of the Exmoor National Park. In this beautiful setting, we’re inviting just 50 influencers to join us for a weekend of creativity, storytelling and adventure from April 20-22, 2018. WHAT WILL WE DO? At The Retreat, we believe that there are three key things you need to learn.  First, learning has to be fun. So we’ve ditched the presentations and slides, and brought in a range of fun activities that will get you out of your comfort zone and creating exciting content. You’ll have the chance to try lots of new things – from bike rides to spa sessions, cookery classes and fashion shoots.  Second, we think you need coaches and presenters who know their stuff. So we’ve assembled a team of professional writers, photographers and film-makers. Whether you’re just starting out, or an experienced blogger looking to develop your skills, this is the perfect place to get support.  Thirdly,  you need time and space. Most of our workshops are for groups of 5 to 15 people. This ensures you have plenty of time to get individual support and advice from our experts, and your peers. Not only that, but we have several small group critiques over the weekend, where you can discuss your work in detail in a supportive environment.  Find more information at our website:  WHAT DOES IT COST?  A 3-day ticket to The Retreat costs £280 including VAT. This fee includes As many (or as few) workshops as you want to attend All main meals, plus soft drinks, tea and coffee Evening entertainment on Friday 20 and Saturday 21 Shuttle return from Taunton Station (if needed) Wet suits, mountain bikes etc for outdoor activities Access to on-site spa Accommodation is in shared rooms, mostly twins and triples. Many of these are en-suite, some smaller rooms may share a bathroom with one other bedroom. We are happy to let you choose room-mates, or we can help find you people to share with via our Facebook group.  A small number of single occupancy rooms are available for a small supplement, please contact us at for more information. These will be allocated on a first-come first served basis.  HOW DO I BOOK?  To secure your place at The Retreat, we ask you to complete the booking form and pay a £75 deposit.  Once your place is confirmed, we will send a link to make additional payments. We will request a payment of £100 by Feb 9 2018 and a final payment of £105 by Mar 9 2018. Please let us have any changes to your booking no less than 10 working days before the event. Sadly, we cannot refund your deposit if you are unable to attend The Retreat, or fail to pay the balance for your ticket by the specified date. Bloggers who have paid for their ticket in part or in whole, but are unable to attend are welcome to transfer their booking to another blogger, in which case we will offer a full refund of all fees paid, minus a £25 administration fee.
