As part of the Secrets: Hidden London Festival, the Royal Opera House presents The Owl and the Pussycat. A water-bound opera performance based on Edward Lear's poem, the show will feature a libretto from ex-Monty Python Terry Jones and a new score from Oscar-winning composer Anne Dudley. Taking place on the water and banks of London's canals and waterways, the new work will travel from west to east and stop for various performances along the way. Final dates and times are yet to be announced.
Secrets: Hidden London is part of the London 2012 Festival and features a lineup of events taking place in little-known spaces across London, encouraging visitors to explore new parts of the capital. Look out for more open air dance, opera, sculpture and other performances in canals, lidos and parks created specifically for London's lesser-known landscapes.
Cost: Some events are free - see website
