Let me guide you from a place of feeling stressed and unbalanced to a place where you are feeling healthy, rejuvenated and fulfilled. 

 

Join me from 14 September (7:00pm) to 16 September (8:00pm) for a Weekend of Transformation, nourishment and stress-busting in the tranquil surroundings of a beautiful old manor house in Dorset.

This Retreat is based on the teachings I discovered at the Alan Wallace retreat in Scotland.

 

Alan is an author, teacher and scholar of meditation and Tibetan Buddhism.  He recently co-authored a book with the Dalia Lama and has been a direct student of his for over 20 years.  His teachings integrate western and eastern scientific disciplines and philosophies in order to advance the study of the mind. 

 

Under his guidance I experienced my deepest meditation and insights to date.  My personal growth accelerated with these teachings.  I know with the right environment and support your growth will accelerate too!  You are in the right place NOW!

 

This Retreat will provide you with the opportunity to immerse yourself in meditation for a full weekend.  This will allow you to gain insight to the full potential of your mind and at the same time experience deep relaxation.  Although the techniques you will discover are extremely powerful they are also very simple. 

 

You will discover how to develop an exceptionally balanced mind where you are highly focused yet deeply relaxed.  Specifically, you will discover the following:

 

  • Anapanasiti meditations (mindfulness of breath) that allow you to deeply relax and use your breath to heal your mind and body.
  • Anapanasiti meditations to help you improve your mental productivity by deepening your capacity for sustained concentration
  • Meditations to help balance and release emotions held in the body.  This will stabilise your emotional state and help you to improve your relationships with yourself and others.
  • The 10 best meditation postures to help you sit for longer periods of time in comfort.
  • The 5 main obstacles in meditation and how to overcome them.
  • Mindfulness activities so that you can integrate mindfulness into your daily life.  These are the tools that will help you to respond rather than react in life.
  • Outdoor meditations to help you feel connected to the beauty of your surroundings
  • The Practice of Noble Silence (Speaking Mindfully).  Silence is one of the most nourishing things for your mind. On this weekend, when we speak it will be mindfully. This means speaking clearly, lovingly and saying only words that are necessary. This will be practiced during the session and between activities. You will be surprised you at how much you enjoy the silence!

The Retreat is suitable for all levels of Meditators (from Beginners to Advanced). 

 

The beauty of this retreat is that you can make the weekend as intense or as relaxed as you choose.  It is important to go at your own pace.  The environment is conducive to intense learning as well as maximum relaxation.  Although you are encouraged to attend all teachings & group meditation sessions, you may choose to relax or meditate in the beautiful surroundings on your own.
