      MaltaPi - Malta's Raspberry Jam

      On Saturday March 9 and Sunday March 10,  join us at the University of Malta , Department of Artificial Intelligence to make, hack, code , tinker and play with all things RaspberryPi, Arduino and other open platforms. All ages welcome! Entrance is Free. MaltaPi is a RaspberryJam event, an open community driven hackathon for enthusiasts of all ages.   Event times: Saturday: 15:00 - 20:00 Sunday: 10:00 - 19:00 The event is also open to anyone who wants to exhibit and bring along their own creations - we welcome all makers (it doesn't have to use a RasPi to be eligible - Arduinos, Microbit, PIX and other controllers welcome!). If you are interested in exhibiting a project, please contact us through Facebook or the contact link below. This Jam we will place special emphasis on Python coding and the use of RaspberryPi in AI! Workshop Times: We will have various walk in workshops throughout the day - below are some keynote workshops, aimed especially at a more technical audience. CHILDREN:All children are welcome - we recommend ages 5+ will get the most enjoyment from the venue. However parents are advised that children are not to be left unsupervised, and under NO CIRCUMSTANCE are children to be dropped off and left alone with parents sneaking off to a quick lunch or coffee. We are not responsible for any children left unsupervised on premises, and if we find children left unattended we will contact the authorities to trace down the parents immediately. HEALTH & SAFETY: We will have first aid on site, but there may be a lot of flashing lights. If you suffer from epilepsy or seizures, please be advised of this, and let us know so we can tell you what is safe and what might not be.
