A chance to make and play on the rooftop of Wolff Olins' building in beautiful King's Cross.
The Honey Club - a social enterprise co-founded by Wolff Olins and Global Generation that aims to save bees and foster community engagement - is hosting the event.
The objective is to build something practical and wonderful to exist alongside the roof garden: a place where the community converges, enjoyed by employees in the building, local young people involved with Global Generation (known as the 'Generators'), Honey Club members and a host of visitors.
Simon Jones - an inspiring local architect - has designed the structure to be built on the day. It's based on a 'ger' (a traditional Mongolian structure, similar to a yurt), with adaptations to blend it into its urban environment and rooftop location.
Ideas, instruction and stuff to make things with will be supplied by a mix of King's Cross characters: the Generators, Wolff Olins, the Honey Club, Simon Jones and other friends of the Honey Club.
There are 8 places available due to weight restrictions on the roof.
Please note that timings are not yet finalised - we will update this site and our link on the LFA website once timings are agreed
Apologies to those that miss out - we'd love you to come round and see the structure once it's finished!
