Imagine

Take the kids to the Southbank Centre during the February half-term and treat them to Imagine, the annual children's literature festival which pulls words off the page. There's a huge amount of literary events to choose from, from readings and storytelling to beatboxing and poetry. Children will get a chance to run the festival during Kids Takeover and they'll also get the chance to feature in performances too, including playing with the Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Charles Hazlewood. As well as appearances by leading children's writers, there's comedy, poetry hopscotch, music and magic for all ages.
