The Royal Albert Hall has partnered with For Folk's Sake, the worlds leading Folk webzine covering folk, indie, pop, country and roots music, for the latest installment of the hush series. Headlining this concert is singer-songwriter Mary Epworth.
Mary Epworth's debut album Dream Life, mixed by Thom Monahan (Devendra Banhart, Beechwood Sparks) and Gareth Jones (Depeche Mode, These New Puritans) at the desk is fast becoming one of the most talked about releases of the year.
As the single, Black Doe took up root on 6 Music, Radio One and Radio Two and reviews have earmarked Mary as a name to watch for 2012.
"a warm, yearning love letter" MOJO
"Mary’s timeless songs and pure but resolute voice somehow sound as though they have been there all the time" Shindig
"a work of bracing originality and immense subtlety" Record Collector
