Music in the widest spectrum of sound you may ever hear will be captured by three extraordinarily virtuosic acoustic guitar instrumentalists on February 24th at the Arden Theatre. The new Italian super group, Guitar Republic, has recreated the guitar ensemble concept, forging ahead into an unconventional territory of rock, improvisation, and minimalism that will change the way you think about the acoustic guitar scene.

Before Guitar Republic, Pino Forastiere, Stefano Barone, and Sergio Altamura were Italy's most successful solo acoustic guitarists, friends from different parts of the country united by a love of the guitar and a passion to explore new musical terrain. Combining their masterful talents – Pino's lyrical melodies, Stefano's rhythmic attack, and Sergio's experimentalist groove – the result equates that of mastery of music and a richness of sound that’s impossible to duplicate.
