Goomeri Pumpkin Festival featuring The Great Australian Pumpkin Roll at Joe's Grand Hotel Goomeri
The festival begins with a Dinner Dance on Saturday night. Early Sunday morning the streets are a hive of activity as over 200 market stalls line the streets with good quality products for visitors to browse through.
Throughout the day the festival offers a variety of entertainment and demonstrations, novelty pumpkin events, a street parade, a fashion parade with a difference and a quilt show. At 2.00 p.m. pumpkin fever takes hold as visitors head to the top of the infamous Policeman&39;s Hill with their chosen pumpkin. Fun and laughter can be heard as pumpkins of all shapes and sizes go splattering down the long hill and across the closed highway in the Great Australian Pumpkin Roll.
