      Going Coastal: Sharky Science

Sharks have lived on earth for more than 450 million years –before the time of the dinosaurs! While sharks all share similar physical traits-they come in a variety of shapes and sizes.  The dwarf shark is as small as your hand, while the whale shark can be as large as a school bus! Join UF/IFAS Extension Florida Sea Grant Agent to learn about different types of sharks, where they live, what they eat, and much more, as we explore one of the ocean’s most revered creatures.  Recommended for ages 8+. This program will take place in the Weedon Island Preserve Cultural and Natural History Center's auditorium. Please see additional Going Coastal Schools OUT: Sharks IN Program on February 18th at 3pm for youth ages 4-8.  Questions or Concerns?
