Event details: Contagious Fun For The Whole Family At The Punchline
Description
"It's all about the children." shares Whitney King, Producer and talent scout for the Punchline Kids' Cabaret. "Talented kids will get their chance to showcase their talents, have a blast and gain valuable performing experience at the same time."
For a quarter of a century, Atlanta Workshop Players have pursued their mission to educate, challenge and inspire young people through the arts. The nonprofit children's theatre company's endeavors to motivate change through extraordinary theatrical productions and training, in a joyful, supportive, non-competitive atmosphere From the beginning, Artistic Director and Founder Lynn Stallings recognized that a positive, nurturing, non-competitive environment is crucial for the children's development and witnessed the way their confidence soared when their creative sparks were
kindled and encouraged. In addition to their ongoing theatre school and
the Punchline Kids' Cabaret, other AWP programs include a touring show of original musicals and intense performing arts camps where every child is welcome and inspired to follow their dreams.
Punchline Kids' Cabaret performances are 2:00 pm on Sunday's, Oct 28, 2007, November 18, 2007, February 24, 2008, and April 27, 2008. The Punchline Comedy Club is located at 280 Hildebrand Ave, off Roswell Rd and just off I-285 in Sandy Springs. Tickets are $10 for adults and $6 for children 18 and under. Group rates are available for special events or birthday parties. Desserts, Shirley Temples and family friendly delicacies will be available.
