Santa is making an appearance
Experience what Christmas was like over 100 years ago. There is a tour of the museum village all traditionally decorated for the holidays. Santa is going to make an appearance and Victorian Christmas crafts can be made by children. There are also heritage demonstrations and refreshments are offered throughout the day. Admission is free, however donations for the local food bank accepted.

Scugog Shores Historical Museum
Located on Scugog Island, the Museum preserves and presents the heritage of Scugog Township. Buildings have been restored to reflect the mid-to-late 19th century, with realistic displays of the period. The village comes alive during special event days, with costumed artisans and interpreters. Throughout the year, the museum provides educational tours for schools and community groups. Head Memorial Church is a beautifully restored heritage church available for wedding rentals.
