How well do you know Ontario wines? Could you pick them out of a line up? Test your wine tasting skills with our "Best of Ontario" tasting. We will be comparing the best chardonnay and cab-franc from each re-gion: Niagara, Prince Edward County, and Lake Erie North Shore. To make things a little more interest-ing we are going to throw in a couple of wringers too! We will have prizes for the top taster.
For those of you who may be a little new to Ontario wines, not to worry! This is a great way to learn about the three key regions in Ontario, and try some great wines. And as they say in the golf world, we will have prizes for the most "honest" taster too!

Wine List:
To be revealed at the tasting. Wines range in value from $17.00-$40.00 per bottle.

Having founded the semi-annual "People's Choice Challenge", where an Ontario varietal is judged by the people to determine which is best, Michael Pinkus, aka "The Grape Guy" is the ideal host to lead us through this comparative blind tasting. Michael is not only passionate about Ontario wines; he has devoted his career as a wine writer with Ontariowinereview.com to help Ontarian's discover what's in our own back-yard. His work has been featured in the Grapevine, LCBO Vintages Magazine, Rogers Television and on the radio show "The Tasting Room" with Terry David Mulligan. Along with writing, Michael also teaches classes, leads seminars, consults, inventories cellars, and judges wine tastings.
